Join Black Worldschoolers Mobile Bookstore at the Indiana State Museum on March 1, 2025, from 10 AM - 3 PM for Family Literacy Day!
đ The mobile bookstore will be parked at the front entrance and open to the public for shopping from 10 AM - 3 PM. Explore a specially curated selection of books celebrating Black stories, culture, and joyâno museum admission required to shop outside the museum!
Inside the museum, families with children ages 6 and younger can immerse themselves in a day full of literacy-centered fun. Enjoy interactive read-alongs, hands-on STEAM projects, and a musical storytelling experience with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra!
Come dressed as your favorite childrenâs book character and experience the magic of storytelling in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Arabic. Plus, vote for your favorite childrenâs book and create your own unique character design!
